The real Alto Rival

By Deepak for Renault KWID

Renault has for long been known for the Duster and from now on, the Kwid will represent the brand in India. The Kwid has all it takes to be a winner in the segment and these are my personal views only - I am yet to drive the car in the showroom but on paper, the Kwid is a winner.
It has a 800cc engine like the Alto and the Eon but remember the Kwid weighs in at just 669 kgs which means there is less mass to lug around and in turn the economy and performance turn out to be good. There are class leading and unique features in the Kwid like the infotainment system and the digital display and then there is the amount of space on offer.
I really hope Renault comes out with a great price - afterall the car comes with as much as 98% of local content. All the best Renault

    The road trip and Kwid

Who doesn’t like road trips? Especially when you get to test drive your friend’s new car. This is what happened. His new car, Renault Kwid Climber 1.0 MT, two weeks out of the showroom, only driven a 50 kms in total. Unfair! We decided to take it out for a spin and to take a roundtrip of about 2000 kms. Best in this price

The car is very good. It's outlooks are good and impressive as well. However, the car lags behind in the safety features as it dose not come with ABS or EBD and the airbag is also one and which is option. So, if you are looking for a car which is good, small, easy to use, efficient and cool; then Read More

The major issues with the car is , if the door not partially closed then sensor doesnt informs. No seat belt alert. If Read More
