Overview

 Mitsubishi Outlander is a softroader which competes with the new Honda CR-V amongst others. Mitsubishi Outlander brings radical looks with its huge black grill up front which is reminiscent of a jet fighter and looks aggressive with its extremely stylish projector headlamp design. It looks sleek yet bold and very much urban. The Mitsubishi Outlander has a well designed rear with stylish tail lamps the overall looks of the car is incredibly good. It has tremendous road presence and the design is very eye catchy. It has sporty looking 5 spoke alloy wheels which look sporty. It has rear view mounted indicators and the roof rails look fantastic. Mitsubishi has paid attention to detail with the Outlander. It has been very well constructed and the build quality is excellent and the paint quality, fit and finish are superb. Mitsubishi Outlander packs a lot features and brings comfortable seats which are well shaped and give very good support to the back. The Outlander has very good ergonomics and all the controls are easy to reach by the driver. There is plenty of leg room and head room inside. It brings a 6 CD changer with USB and Aux support and combined with its 9 component Rockford Fosgate audio system which sounds incredibly good. Mitsubishi Outlander has automatic climate control which is very efficient and the instrument cluster with its colored LCD display looks sporty yet elegant and also features the MID. It has twin Airbags for safety and cornering lights which are very practical. It also brings features such as cruise control which is helpful on long drives on the highways. Electric ORVMs come standard. One touch electronically controlled folding operation for the rear seats are very convenient on the Outlander. It also brings several storage areas inside the car and has 220 liters of boot space for your travel luggage.Mitsubishi Outlander brings a petrol power plant to the table and features a very powerful 4 cylinder motor which churns out a 170 PS of power at 6000 RPM and makes 226 NM of torque at 4100 RPM. This engine powers up the car to great speeds on the highway and manages to remain very tractable and versatile for in-city driving. There is plenty of torque the power delivery is excellent. Mitsubishi has a smooth engine and the gearshifts are slick. It has a rev happy engine and is an absolute blast to drive in a spirited manner. ARAI has rated the Mitsubishi Outlander to deliver a maximum fuel efficiency of 11 kmpl. Mitsubishi Outlander is a fantastic car. It brings a comfortable ride quality and the suspension is well setup for the road. It is not a true off roader but provides oodles of fun factor for on road use. It has excellent ground clearance and will get over almost any speedbreaker or through a deep pothole. The suspension is setup so that under extreme road conditions the passengers aren’t thrown around inside the car. Mitsubishi is a great softroader and is available in a single variant. However, it is an excellent on road performer and brings endless features. Braking Safety

 

 
The steering feels heavy at low speeds but as the speeds go higher up it gives excellent feedback and is well weighted. It has ABS + EBD and traction control as driver aids combined with its disk brake setup which enhances the braking capabilities of this sports utility vehicle from Mitsubishi.
