Amazing Amaze.
Honda amaze has been a let down. Purchased Amaze SMT Diesel model and just after 60 kms of running break liners were making noise. PDI Wheel alignment was not proper, shock absorbers are sub standard, the smoothness is not there, it's as if the rubber bushings are hardened.
2nd Gear pick u is horrible. At the speed breaker and slope you have to take off on 1st gear itself, otherwise smaller cars like Alto will overtake you and goes off.
Safety features are not up to it. Automatic locking should happen once the vehicle starts moving, however it does not happen and manually we have to do it. In other car models including Swift dezire LDI model this is provided. According to co passengers sitting is not comfortable. No remote for music system no DVD facility. If you cross a speed breaker at 10 kmh speed it's okay otherwise if it's even at 20 kmh, it feels as if the hole of the front engine part and body comes down heavily.
Worst of all is the tall claim made by Honda of 25 kms per liter, which on road we are getting around 14 kms per litre inside the city and 15 to 15.5 kms outside.
I have got 25 kms per liter in Swift desire and consistantly 18 - 20 kms inside the city.
I can rate 5 out of 10 for Honda Amaze and 8 out of 10 to swift dezire ( 1,80,000 kms in 20 months ) .with no major maintanance.

I am using Honda Amaze Automatic transmission car for the last two years. Performance, style, looks everything are very good compared to other sedans of this range, but fuel consumption is too much. In city (Delhi) the average is only 10 km per ltr and on highways it is 13-14 km per ltr. Required pic up is not there for

Amaze, not a good car for people who like speed. I recently brought Amaze SMT Petrol, overall looks good, but when running car on 80-90 and need to do speed boost it fails, its taking longer then expected time to reach over 100 to overtake other vehicle. same things happen in lower gear, in 4th its taking time to reach
