When I was a kid, I saw the Honda Civic for the first time and I remember getting mesmerized. It was love at first sight not just for the Civic but for Honda as well. You have to like the parents if you like the kid right? Honda has been coming up with good cars for as long as I can remember. The new Honda Amaze came to the markets a little while back and people responded well to it. My friend also bought an Amaze diesel variant in silver grey. We took it out for drives plenty of times. The car is alright.
From the outside, the car has an okay design, looks a bit jumpy for a compact sedan but that could be a good things considering the amazing Indian roads. The raised boot and small front gives it a lighter less luxurious look. The dashboard has chrome near the air con vents and the plastic is of slightly better quality. The interiors are in dual tones of beige and black. There is just enough legroom in the rear and the boot fits ample luggage.
The car gives a mileage of around 22kmpl for now which isn’t too bad. But for me the car doesn’t drive too well. It’s not smooth. It feels like a hatchback on the road when it gets light on higher speed. But everyone has different perspective and this is mine.
It’s an okay car.

After 7 years of using Dzire, I bought this for my wife but it's no where near Dzire. 1. City Milage is 8~10 which she used to get 12~14 with Dzire. 2. There is no intruder alarm. 3. Doors get lock while boot is open. If you drop key in boot while placing items inside, you have to break open
I am using Honda Amaze Automatic transmission car for the last two years. Performance, style, looks everything are very good compared to other sedans of this range, but fuel consumption is too much. In city (Delhi) the average is only 10 km per ltr and on highways it is 13-14 km per ltr. Required pic up is not there for
