The Ford Figo Aspire is Ford’s first attempt in the sub-4 metre segment in India. The car is based on the hatchback Ford Figo but going by the looks, the Figo Aspire is one of the best looking cars in the segment. The Figo Aspire follows the latest design language of Ford family. The front face of the Figo Aspire looks very modern. The car has elegant grille, big headlamps, and beautifully sculpted bumper.
The rear looks very simple with just a chrome strip running across the boot lid. The side profile of the Figo Aspire looks very well-thought. The boot does not looks out of the place at all.
Ford offers three engines with the Figo Aspire - 1.2-litre petrol, 1.5-litre petrol with only automatic transmission and 1.5-litre diesel motor.
Deep Impact Blue
Ford Figo jumped right into the stiff competition of the compact sedans. The sub-4metre sedan entered the already crowded market that is ruled by the Maruti DZire. The Ford Figo Aspire is based on the all-new Figo hatchback platform.
It is an all-new car and Ford has done a lot of work to try and break the market. The sub 4-metre segment is one of the hottest selling segment after the hatchback and it already has many offerings. Ford Figo Aspire aims to bring fresh change in the segment. The Figo Aspire looks a bit more proportional than the other offerings in the market except the Honda Amaze.
The Figo Aspire gets powered by both petrol and diesel engines and also has an option of direct shift automatic gearbox, a first in the segment.
The interior is massively inspired by the Ford EcoSport. The dashboard looks very similar to the compact SUV and has almost the same features. There are plenty of cup holders to keep your drinks safe and smart spaces all around to make sure that you do not lose the small things easily. The most eye catchy of all the features is the MySync system powered by Microsoft. It can be controlled by voice and has a small LCD single color screen.
There is ample space inside. Even with the driver seat pushed all the way back, an adult can sit comfortably in the rear. There is a foldable armrest in the rear that can be folded to make space for a third passenger on the rear row.
The Ford Figo Aspire looks very masculine with the huge trapezoidal grille in front. The big headlamps sit on either side while the fog lamps are located on the lower end of the bumpers. The car looks premium and proportionate from side. From the rear, the Figo Aspire has a chrome slat that bridges both the tail lamps but the rear is not the most exciting part of the car. The Figo Aspire looks very dull from the rear but overall appearance is very attractive. The wheels also feel smaller for the body, an inch more would have been perfect for the Ford Figo.
The Ford Figo Aspire is powered by three engine options. 1.5 TDCi diesel engine and two variants of petrol engine in form of 1.2-litre Ti-VCT and 1.5-litre Ti-VCT. The diesel engine is mated with 5-speed gearbox and produces a maximum of 100 PS along with 215 Nm of torque. The diesel variant return a healthy 25.83 km/l.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine is only available with the manual transmission and produces a maximum of 88 PS along with 112 Nm of torque. The ARAi of petrol manual is 18.16 km/l.
The bigger 1.5-litre petrol engine gets automatic transmission. The engine produces 112 PS of maximum power along with 136 Nm of maximum torque. The automatic version returns 17 km/l.
The Figo Aspire is built on Figo platform. The car is a good handler in the segment. The car is very well balanced. The steering is electric and feels a lot lighter than the Fiesta but lacks feedback. The suspensions are set-up at mild hard setting that gives you perfect balance between ride quality and handling.
Ford India has started accepting bookings for the upcoming Figo based compact sedan - Aspire in the country. Pros Great Looks,Fuel Efficiency,
Cons Average Performance,Average Interiors,CongestedUncomfortable,
I drive my Aspire TDi more than 15000 Kms within 6 months 20 % in City and 80% on NH24B Highway. Aspire dos't have quality like Ford. Dash board humming sound irritate you while you drive. Doors are so noisy when close it and continuous noise comes from almost all doors while you drive on average bad roads. Ford has no solution for it they fabricate it by several tricks to satisfy me but till date there is no permanent solutions, for example they change my engine mounting to remove dash-board vibration sound with in 2 months of car purchased for this problem i send my car to service center 3 times but truly till date i,m not satisfied. Leg room very poor, Front seats touch gear box hub while you move it to forward. Power window also not smooth in operation etc... Finally it is very cheap quality Car, Not like other ford cars. It is not worth to money.

Cons Average Fuel Efficiency,
I feel the Ford Figo Aspire is a very potent vehicle and is definitely the best looking car in the compact sedan segment. The 1.5-litre diesel engine offers a lot of power. Its interiors look very premium and it comes equipped with segment best features as well. I love the fact that the Aspire gets two airbags as standard across all variants. Ford has priced the sedan very well as compared to its rivals and the Figo Aspire is a very nice product, way better than other cars in the segment.

After 1st servicing will defiantly got 25 KMPL on highways with AC. Best designed shock ups for off road condition. Best quality of AC provided with very heavy air flow rate, no need of rear duct of AC. Definitely this Ford vehicle will give you premium class feeling on road.

Pros Great Looks,Great Interiors,Comfort,Great look, style and comfort
Cons Average Performance,Average Interiors,Average Fuel Efficiency,Not good pick up, fuel efficiency, horrible customer relation management and spare parts management
I got an accident on 1st of November evening and immediately took it to workshop ( Kaikan Ford) on very next day morning. From the workshop they said as the car is new so they don't have all the spare parts so it will take 3 days to get them. When till 12th the spare parts didn't arrive I had lodged a complaint to Ford India. Ford India's Customer relation person Husna Banu took my case and promised to update me from time to time which she never did. Just when dealership on 17th afternoon received the spare parts then she called to say it will reach in the evening where as matter of fact the parts actually reached workshop. Then on 18th I received the car and the workshop guys honestly told me that one part is still missing and they have fixed the accident affected part till the time the part arrive so that I can use the car till that time. After that Husna Banu called next day that if I am happy with the dealer's repair work, without knowing that still they are waiting for a part from Ford India. When I told her that she promised to look after the matter and again vanished. Till date no reply for my mails not even a call to update me when the part will arrive, if I call they say trying their best without giving a concrete answer. It's 25 days since I took the car to Ford workshop. Please think twice before purchasing a Ford Product. Very sorry to say that too much incompetent people they have employed.
