Time and again, you must have read that India is one of the fastest growing car markets in the world. If you have any doubts about that, just take a brief look at the industry developments, new car launches, sales numbers, etc., that have taken place in the year gone by. 2015 has turned out to be a phenomenal year for car buyers and manufacturers alike. Not only did we witness a huge number of new launches across different car segments this year, there has also been a noticeable change in the car buying trend.

However,  if there’s one thing that has constantly worked in favour of car manufacturers amidst changing market demographics, it has got to be the presence of a SUV/Crossover in their model range. From compact to mid-size to premium segment, the demand for SUVs/Crossovers in the country has been hitting the roof lately.

Car manufacturers know that if they wish to stay competitive in our market, they ought to have a SUV/Crossover in some shape or form in their portfolio. As a result, 2016 is going to be the year when most of the manufacturers will further flood our market with new SUVs and crossovers. Let’s take a look at some of these high-riding vehicles that are coming our way next year,
