Toyota Reveals Accessories For Glanza

  • Jun 07, 2019

Toyota launched the Glanza hatchback car in India yesterday. The Glanza is actually a cross-badged version of the Maruti Baleno. It is the first car to be rolled out in India from the Toyota-Suzuki partnership. The two leading Japanese carmakers recently joined hands to cross-badge each other’s products for the Indian market.

The Toyota Glanza is pegged at ₹7.22 lakh for the entry-level model.

Toyota, after introducing the Glanza, has now come up with a number of accessories for the car. Many of these accessories are cosmetic additions for the vehicle and can be bought from the company’s website.

Here’s what Toyota is offering to Glanza customers.

Exterior: The exterior accessories comprises of an aero kit (side skirt, and rear and front bumper spoiler), bumper corner protectors, side protectors, rear door chrome garnish, door visor with chrome insert, mudguard and body cover.

Interior: The interior kit for the Glanza has cushions, floor mats, window sunshade, seat covers, and a trunk mat.

Interior styling kit: Toyota has also released an interior styling kit for the newly launched car which includes wooden or blue coloured inserts around the cabin.

Toyota, besides the accessories, has also released a styling package for the Glanza. The package includes selected components from the accessories i.e. the aero kit, side protectors, rear door chrome garnish, car cushion, seat cover, trunk mat, scuff plates, and bumper protectors.

The number of accessories for the Toyota Glanza seems very limited compared to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Toyota may release more accessories going ahead and depending on how the new hatchback is accepted in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki, on its part, offers an exhaustive range of accessories for the Baleno which includes car care kits, an infotainment system, amplifiers, subwoofers, and alloys wheels.

The Baleno has an ex-showroom starting price of ₹5.46 lakh.
