Toyota launches new variant of Land Cruiser Prado

Toyota has launched new variant of its sports utility vehicle (SUV) Land Cruiser Prado in the Indian market. The new SUV will compete with Audi Q5, Land Rover Freelander 2 and BMW X3 in the Indian market.


The new Land Cruiser Prado is powered by a 3 litre, DOHC D-4D diesel engine. The vehicle will give out 171 bhp@3400 rpm and 41.4 kgm of torque at 1600-2800 rpm. It will also have features like kinetic dynamic suspension system, 3-zone climate control, multi information display, ride height control, parking assist and stability control. The SUV will be priced at Rs 52.4 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
