A 19 yeras old teenager, Jude Kriwald, will be pedalling 6,000 miles from Yeovil to India in June to raise money for the cause to support St Margaret's Hospice, who are doing the treatment of his grandmother. Jude does not have a bike, he is currently looking for one.
Jude said, "A start-up bicycle company came forward in February and offered to build me a bike, but have had to pull out due to cash-flow problems.
"It's funny that all the complicated stuff has been sorted; visas, route, equipment, but no bike as of yet. So I am currently looking for a company or individual to sponsor my trip in the form of a bike to take around the world."
To support him Mr Kriwald have decided to raise 25,000 euro for the cause. He will be travel for more than six months crossing 17 countries from Amritsar, a city in the north western part of India where he will be reaching in December.
He said, "I wanted to do this for St Margaret's Hospice not only because they are helping my grandmother, but because they help so many people in the community. Almost everyone locally knows someone who has benefited from this wonderful place and the dedicated people who work here.”
He would like people should come and join him to support for the cause fom across the globe and to donate any amount to support St Margaret's.
