Indian indigenous automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has announced a number of discounts on its range of popular passenger cars. The company is offering savings of up to ₹1.5 lakh on the Nexa, Nexon, Harrier, Tigor, and the Tiago NRG. They are also offering an exchange bonus to customers wanting to sell their old vehicle for a new Tata car. Tata has partnered with a number of finance companies and has come up with 100 percent finance options and equitable monthly installment (EMI) schemes for its customers.

Tata Motors is offering the highest discount on Hexa, followed by Tigor. The top-level trim of the Hexa is now priced at ₹17.32 lakh, giving a ₹5 lakh savings to customers, compared to the top-level diesel model of the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Hexa costs ₹1.2 lakh less than the Mahindra XUV500, after the discount, making the former the cheapest car in the compact SUV segment.

The Mumbai-headquartered company is also offering up to ₹1.15 lakh discount on the Tigor. The car’s top-level diesel version is now priced at ₹6.74 lakh. The Tigor compact sedan locks horns with the Honda Amaze, Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Volkswagen Ameo, and the Ford Aspire in its class.

Both the Nexon and Tiago also get benefits of up to ₹85,000 and ₹70,000 respectively. The Tiago is now available at an ex-showroom price of ₹6.06 lakh. The Nexon, on the other hand, is pegged at ₹8.74 lakh. The Tiago is a compact hatchback and competes with Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and WagonR in its class. The Nexon is a compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) and rivals the Hyundai Venue, Ford Freestyle, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Honda WR-V, and the Mahindra TUV300.

Tata has also introduced special schemes for corporate and government employees, ahead of the festive season.
