Additionally, Toyota Africa will take up after-sales services on behalf of Suzuki as it has done before in Kenya. The partnership is already going strong and expected to be such in other regions as well. Earlier the two automakers had decided to cross-badge the Vitara Brezza and the Baleno last year. Now, cars like Ertiga and Ciaz will also get a Toyota badge.

What remains to be known is that if Toyota will export these rebadged cars to other parts of the world. The first car to exchange badge is the Baleno which is expected to be launched in June 2019. This will be followed by the Corolla rebadged as Suzuki and the Vitara Brezza rebadged as Toyota.
