Black is the color of bold and Rolls Royce has launched two of their best models in a bespoke Black Badge version to attract a wider and younger base of customers.
Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, the Black Badge editions are not the limited edition models, they have fixed a permanent position in the Rolls Royce line-up. Both Ghost and Wraith get this new treatment which makes the Spirit of Ecstasy gloss black and the double R logo of Rolls Royce also get a black tone of silver finish. Other parts that turn into darker shade are the front grille surround, boot-lid finisher, lower air-inlet, and the exhaust pipes.

The Black Badge editions also get exclusive composite carbon alloy wheels that feature 22-layers of carbon fibres. There is 3D aircraft-grade aluminum hub that is bonded to the rim using aerospace grade titanium fasteners giving more strength to the vehicle.
Now, the Black Badge edition also get aerospace-grade aluminum-threaded carbon fiber composite materials as an option inside the cabin. If you chose this trim, you get 0.014mm aluminum threads that are woven together and bonded with carbon fiber. The whole area gets six-coat of lacquer and hand-polish to get a mirror finish effect.
