  • Apr 22, 2019

Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL), the wholly owned subsidiary of the Yokohama headquartered global automobile major, has announced a free AC checkup of all its cars at all authorised Nissan and Datsun service stations. Datsun is a registered brand owned by Nissan. The camp has already started on 15 April and will end on 31 May. Datsun and Nissan car owners will be able to avail up to 20 percent discount on labour charges.

NMIPL in a statement said that the Indian summer this year is expected to see the mercury reach record levels which will make air-conditioning the most important facility while commuting. Nissan, conforming to its commitment to extend the best customer satisfaction, has decided to hold the free AC inspection camp on all Nissan and Datsun cars.

Speaking about the camp, NMIPL general manager (after-sales) Atul Aggarwal, said that his company has always offered exceptional after sales and service to its customers and will conform to its line this time as well. The objective of organising the camp is to proactively diagnose and recommend service requirements to customers regarding their ACs in Datsun and Nissan cars. That aside, the customers can also get their cars washed for free and can avail several attractive offers on genuine accessories, Aggarwal said, adding that free gifts and offers on spare parts are also being given by the company.

The NIMPL statement claimed that according to JD Power’s India Customer Service Index (2017), Datsun and Nissan have been ranked among the top six automobile companies in the country offering the best customer satisfaction. Nissan, the statement said, is committed to take customer satisfaction to the next level and the free AC checkup camp is being organised towards that end.

Nissan recently launched its sub-compact sports utility vehicle Kicks in India at an ex-showroom price of INR9.55 lakh.
