Quanto is the latest buzz which is keeping the industry busy. The new sub-4 meters MUV from the Mahindra named Quanto is all set to be launched on 20th September. Inspired from the design of Xylo, the new vehicle will be the smallest MUV from the Indian manufacturer and due to its sub-4 meter size, the Quanto will enable you to save a lot of excise duty. Built around 'Ingenio' platform, Mahindra will launch the MUV only in 1.5-liter 3 cylinder diesel engine which will churn out maximum power of around 100 bhp.
The latest kid from the Mahindra stable was caught many times on camera and looks good if not beautiful. Even though the front design is also inspired from the Xylo, the rear fascia is attractive and smart with tall lamps. Mahindra will sell the car as weekend family trip vehicle for the reasons the company took the car to picturesque and summer holiday capital of India known as Srinagar. Quanto, when launched will compete directly with the Duster and the Rio and the price is expected to hover around Rs. 5.5 lac (ex-showroom) to start with.
