Mahindra Reveals Details Of Scorpio Accessories Kit

The Mahindra Scorpio has been one of the most popular sports utility vehicles (SUVs) in India ever since it was launched in 2002. However, it has been facing intense competition lately from major international manufacturers. In a bid to restore its pride, Mahindra has introduced customisable accessories in five categories to lend the Scorpio a more modern look and feel.



Here’s what the company is offering under these categories.

Style: Includes 15 or 17-inch alloy wheels along with full wheel covers.

Comfort and Convenience: Comprises floor mats, seat covers, inverter, roof-mounted blower, and an in-car cooler.



Technology: 7 and 9-inch headrest-mounted display options along with GPS navigation is included in this package.

Adventure: Customisation options include a handirack or roof carrier.



Safety: Includes rear and front guards along with rear camera, and rear parking and front proximity sensors.

The exterior accessories kit of the Mahindra Scorpio comprises rear spoiler, rear guard, roof carrier, fog lamp protection, body cover, alloy wheels, front guard and wind deflector.



The interior kit includes seat covers, scuff plate, floor mats, sun shades, ISOFIX child seat anchor, car bins, gear lock, full-floor illuminated mats, mobile holder, car cushions, infotainment system, dashboard-mounted reverse camera, mobile charger, neck massager, head-up display unit, rear sensors with display on the interior rearview mirror (IRVM), puddle lamp, speakers, headrest-mounted screen, navigation system, reading lamp, car tracker, mini-refrigerator, fog lamps, vacuum cleaner, headlamp bulbs, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Mahindra has also introduced an intense chrome kit that adds a dash of chrome on the front fog lamp housing, headlamps surround, air dam, front fender, mirrors, door handles, rear quarter glass, wind deflectors, and the lower and upper grille.

The Mahindra Scorpio currently commands an ex-showroom price between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹16.63 lakh. It locks horns with Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, and the Tata Safari Storme at its price point in the midsized SUV segment.
