Mahindra & Mahindra's commercial vehicles' division today launched the Bolero 'Maxi Truck'. The utility truck is priced at Rs 4.08 lakh ex-showroom Karnataka. The truck is basically an updated version of the Bolero 'Maxi Truck' with driving aides like power steering and ergonomic interiors. Under the hood is a 61 horsepower MDI direct injection diesel engine which allows the vehicle to cruise at 100 kph.

Other internal changes include a redesigned muffler which reduces the backflow of exhaust gases into the engine, and viscous fan technology that automatically switches off the cooling fan when engine temperature falls below a preset point. And our innovative micro-hybrid technology helps conserve fuel, saving up to 10 percent on fuel costs.

Arun Malhotra, Senior Vice President, sales and customer care, automotive division, M&M Ltd, said with its steering option, the new truck would cater to the needs of stand operators and businessmen alike by offering them efficient cargo movement and driving comfort for even the longest trips. "With a comprehensive portfolio of products we hope to further consolidate our leadership position in the commercial vehicle industry," he added.
