Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Colour Options Explained

  • Aug 26, 2019

Hyundai Motor India officially launched the Grand i10 Nios on 20 August. The car will be the latest member of the i10 family and will be sold alongside its elder peers. The i10 Nios is available in two new dual-tone colours, along with the six monotone options. The two-tone colours, however, are only limited to the Nios 1.2-litre Sportz manual transmission (MT) version.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios was already available in the Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Titan Grey, Alpha Blue, and Aqua Teal colour options. The two newly introduced shades are Polar White and Aqua teal, both with a black roof.

The two-tone Grand i10 models get an all-black cabin with colour coded accents that are similar to the car’s exterior. Two-tone grey is the standard colour scheme of the car’s dashboard. The i10 Nios gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and integrated audio controls on the steering that are similar to the Venue subcompact SUV.

Some of the rivals of the Grand i10 Nios, like the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, are available in two-tone colours with roof wraps. The Blu version of the compact Ford Figo, on the other hand, comes in three two-tone shades. The Figo’s stablemate, the Freestyle, has only monotone colour schemes. Segment leader Maruti Suzuki Swift too comes in a number of monotone colours with add-on roof wraps and customisation options.

Visually, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has a new design with a new cascading grille, and sculpted bumper with aggressive lines. Other features include sharper projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a new floating roof design, sharper character lines, wraparound taillights, and two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. The cabin gets a twin-pod instrument cluster with multi-information display (MID), automatic climate control, rear air-conditioning vents, and a segment-first wireless charging feature.
