Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Available With Zero Waiting Period

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, the latest member in the i10 series, is now available with no waiting in almost all major cities across India. Nios, the third-generation i10 from the South Korean automobile manufacturer, was launched recently. The company had opened the bookings much before the vehicle’s official debut. The Grand i10 Nios is available in the Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta, and the Sportz Dual Tone version.



The Korean carmaker had started accepting bookings for the Nios much before the car’s official launch.


Hyundai claims that the Grand i10 Nios is available with a zero waiting period in Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Thane, Surat, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Patna, Coimbatore, and Noida. It has a 10-day waiting period in Indore, and 20 days in Kolkata. Ghaziabad and Faridabad each have a one-month waiting period. Jaipur customers have the highest waiting period of two months for the Nios.


The entry-level Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Era trim is hauled by a 1,197cc petrol engine which produces 83PS maximum power at 6,000rpm and 114Nm peak torque at 4,000rpm. The Nios, according to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), returns a mileage of 20.7kmpl. The car is also available with a 1,186cc BS-IV diesel engine which outputs 75PS maximum power at 4,000rpm and 190Nm peak torque at 1,750-2,250rpm. Both motors are available with manual and automatic manual transmission (AMT) options.



The Grand i10 Nios sports an all-new dashboard which includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, integrated into the instrument cluster’s housing. The central air-conditioning vents are positioned below the infotainment unit and have a rectangular design.


The Grand i10 Nios Era commands an ex-showroom price of ₹4.99 lakh. The car locks horns with the Ford Figo, and Maruti Suzuki Swift in the compact hatchback segment. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Ford Freestyle are also its competitors.
