The CSR campaign is a part of spreading awareness about saving heritage monuments in Delhi

Happy Move Global Volunteers

India's second largest carmaker, Hyundai Motor India commenced the second phase of its CSR, Happy Move – Save Our Heritage, in association with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at four heritage locations in Delhi that also involved schools in order to spread awareness amongst the youth about the city's heritage. Volunteers conducted this awareness drive at Jantar Mantar, Old Fort, Qutub Minar and Haus Khas that included maintenance activities of the properties and educating visitors about the importance of the monuments in these areas.

Along with the heritage sites, Hyundai also reached out to four schools particularly the Delhi – Tamil Association (DTEA) Senior Secondary Schools in Lodhi Estate, RK Puram, INA Market and Mandir Marg as a part of the company's another CSR activity, School Contact Program. This initiative involved facility premises cleaning, wall designing, garden maintenance along with design competitions to encourage cleanliness as well as involve students in creative and new ways of learning.

A special performance that was organised at Central Park, Connaught Place was also a part of the initiative that witnessed a huge footfall. Recently, Hyundai also achieved a benchmark by selling over one million unit cars under the i20 moniker since its inception in 2008. Over time, the car has gone through several updates and various design themes that are in conjunction with the 'Fluidic Sculpture Philosophy' of the Korean carmaker.
