Honda Car India announces price hike

With the new year just round the corner, manufacturers are revising the prices of the vehicles with the rise of production. Honda Car India has also announced the rise of prices from 1st January 2016.
Honda sells 6 vehicles in India namely Brio, Amaze, Jazz, Mobilio, City, and CR-V. All of the vehicles have gone through price rise. The prices are hiked from a minimum of Rs. 10,000 to a maximum of Rs. 16,000 depending on the model of the vehicle.New Honda Jazz India 2015 (58)edit

"We will hike prices in the range of Rs 10,000-16,000 from January, depending on the model. The price increase has been necessitated on account of increase in input costs," apprised Jnaneswar Sen, Honda Cars Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales).

The price announcement of Honda has come after many competitors have announced the hike. Honda launched the all-new Jazz this year and has received good response from the market. The company also recalled 90,000 units of diesel vehicles to fix the pipeline.
