Force Gurkha RFC South India 2016 Winner - Jagat Nanjapa

Representing V5 Off-Roaders of Coorg, Nanjapa along with his co-driver, Chethanand secured a total of 525 points out of 600. A total of 11 teams participated in the event for two days wherein there were six tasks and special stages. The teams were tested through the driving and vehicle recovery skills under off- road conditions.

2016 Force Gurkha RFC South India winner, Jagat Nanjapa has secured a free automatic entry to the Force Gurkha RFC India 2016, that will be held from 22nd July- 29th July 2016. He is the second confirmed participant after Tejinder Pal Singh of Gerrari Off-Roaders, Chandigarh, winner of 2016 Force Gurkha RFC North India.

Runners-up, Chaitanya Challa(Syed Taj) of Charminar Off-Road Adventure Club, Hyderabad scored a total of 475 points. Second Runner's- up was secured by Pradeep kumar ( Prithiviraj AC) of Bangalore Off-Roaders Development Association (BODA) with 427 points. 'Spirit of RFC' was won by Madhusudan Reddy of BODA

On winning and participating in the South India Chapter of this RFC India, Nanjapa said, “It was a superb experience. Certain obstacles that we did in a few Special Stages were completely new experiences for us. They made us push our vehicle to its limit and also made us realize that a lot of upgrade is required on our Jeep to make it ready for the Goa event. Apart from vehicle modification, I am also going to work on my physical fitness over the next few months to be completely ready for the competition ahead.”

Delhi based Cougar Motorsport launched Force Gurkha RFC India in 2014 post partnering with two other Off-Roading clubs -Bangalore Offroaders Development Association (BODA) and Gerrari Off-Roaders, Chandigarh

Force Gurkha RFC South India track was designed by David Metcalfe, famous in RFC circles with Cougar Motorsport team.
