We spotted the Titanium version of the new Endeavour

Two days back we had told you about the launch of the new Ford Endeavour on the 19th January 2016 (read report)  and today we managed to see this new SUV in flesh. The version you see here is the top-end 3.2-litre Titanium model which will come loaded with almost all the bells and whistles as the international version. This particular production model was shod with MRF Wanderer tyres.

We also managed to make a quick walk around video of the new Endeavour and it certainly looked imposing in the parking lot. Ford has started dealership level training and will be offering this new model in a total of six different versions across two trim levels of Trend and Titanium. The smaller 2.2-litre will be available in 4 versions while the 3.2-litre engine will be made available in 2 versions. The good news is that the Trend trim level will have both 4x2 and 4x4 versions on offer.

The new Endeavour from the back

We had driven the all-new Endeavour in Thailand earlier this year (read our review report) and came back impressed. The Endeavour has not only improved on all the shortcomings of the previous model but also comes across an excellent product in the Rs 25-30 lakh bracket. USP of the new Endeavour is its 200PS diesel engine and other key features include the new Terrain Management System, LCD speedometer that shows a wealth of information, safety kit with as many as six airbags et al. When launched, it will be the only SUV in the segment to offer features like electrically foldable third row seats and tail gate, features usually seen in more expensive SUVs.

The new Ford Endeavour will lock horns with the Toyota Fortuner that is also due for a replacement by end 2016 / early 2017.
