There are two ways to be able to drive a Lamborghini:

1. You work hard all your life and you have earned enough money for a Lamborghini but chances are that you have become old by the time you can afford one and as a result you have lost any interest in driving a Lamborghini hard. Also if you happen to spend Rs 5 crores on a car you would unlikely want to drive it hard instead you would like to keep it in a temperature controlled garage.

2. You spend some money and enroll yourself in the Lamborghini driving academy where you get to drive every Lamborghini in challenging conditions. It is called as the Avanzato program and is an intense two days driving program that will push you and all the Lambo cars to the limit in the extraordinary world of ice driving.

The complete Lamborghini model range will be at your disposal over an unforgettable three night and two day Lamborghini Ice Driving experience. Over the two days you will develop basic skills such as oversteer, obstacle avoidance, and short handling but by the end of day two you will have mastered drifting, gymkhana, and tactical driving all through the unmistakable 700 hp of the Aventador V12.

Drivers can take advantage of the Lamborghini Academy which test drivers skill on a man made ice course when drivers are behind the wheels of such super cars as the Lamborghini’s mantis like Aventador LP 700-4, race-inspired Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, and angular Gallardo LP 560-4.

Under instructors’ guidance, participants will not only handle critical winter-driving conditions, learning techniques such as emergency braking and swerving in front of obstacles, but also enjoy the excitement of drifting on snow and ice. Now you might think supercars are not perfect for driving on ice but thanks to 4-wheel drive Lamborghini which has the stability needed and provides superb grip.

The permanent all wheel drive contains the driveline which is an electronically controlled Haldex coupling which distributes the forces between front and rear. In a matter of milliseconds, this coupling adapts the force distribution to match the dynamic situation. A self-blocking rear differential together with a front differential electronically controlled by ESP make for even more dynamic handling. The Drive Select Mode System enables the driver to choose vehicle characteristics (engine, transmission, differential, steering and dynamic control) from three settings – Strada (road), Sport and Corsa (track) – to suit his individual preferences.

The prices for this driving experience is not cheap but is certainly worth it. For more information regarding prices and dates for the next Lamborghini winter academy visit the Lamborghini website. Meanwhile enjoy the images!
