Datsun has just started offering Style editions of the GO and GO+ cars. The limited edition variants of the cars will be available with the new blue colour and get some tweaks to their exteriors and interiors to make them look attractive.

The exteriors have been spruced up with roof rails, rear spoiler, body graphics and a limited edition 'Style' logo. Interiors of these cars now feature a dual tone black and beige colour combination with piano-black centre console carrying silver accents.

The Style editions of GO and GO+ will be available for sale during August, September and October. Managing director of Nissan Motor India, Arun Malhotra, commented on the launch saying:
The ‘Style’ editions add more choices for customers and complement Datsun GO and GO+’s attractive design, making these cars even more appealing to the youthful risers of India. We will continue to serve our customers with exciting products that embrace the Datsun brand’s heritage of Japanese technology together with eye-catching, modern design.

The Style editions will only be available in the 'T' variants of the cars and will be sold through all of the 231 outlets in India. The ex-showroom Delhi pricing will be as follows:

- GO 'Style' Edition:    Rs 4,06,974

- GO+ 'Style' Edition: Rs 4,77,552

The cars come with unique features like follow-me-home headlamps, speed-sensitive power steering, powerful air conditioning, front power windows, music system with auxiliary and USB ports, central locking and wheel covers.

The 1.2-litre powertrain is very powerful for its class and the car can easily cruise at highway speeds without any strain. The engine is also very reliable given that it is made by the Japanese manufacturer, Nissan. The motors are also fairly efficient and I was able to manage an indicated fuel efficiency figure of 19.5kmpl after driving it for 350km. The figure wasn't very far from the official claim of 20.6kmpl, which I was able to beat by 0.2kmpl while doing highway-only drive.

The cars also come with a two-year-long factory warranty with no cap on the number of kilometres and it can be extended to five years, again with unlimited kilometres. So, even if you drive 2,00,000km during the warranty period, it'd still be covered by Datsun, which is something no other manufacturer in India can boast of.

Roadside assistance is also offered for free during the warranty period making the ownership period as stress-free as possible.
