After endless speculations and spy shots of the highly-anticipated model by Bajaj, the RE 60, the company will finally launch the new quadricycle on 25th September, 2015.

First showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo, the Bajaj RE 60’s launch was delayed in the Indian car market due to several reasons including its non-classification as a vehicle under the Central Government regulations. However, the Central Government has finally given the quadricycle a green signal and it will be launched this month.

The new Bajaj RE 60 will come powered by a 216cc, liquid cooled, fuel injected, 4-valve, petrol engine. The petrol engine will also come with Bajaj's triple spark ignition technology. It will produce around 21PS of maximum power and will come paired with a five speed manual gearbox. The engine is speculated to return a fuel economy of around 37km/l or more and will produce less CO2 emission by around 60gm per km.
