2015 Audi Q3 India

The new Q3 has received subtle but important changes making it even more attractive and aggressive. Audi Q3 single-handedly took the sales of Audi India to new heights giving the German luxury car maker the top-spot in the Indian premium car market.IMG_0138 copy

The Q3 looks stunning. There are new advanced LED headlamps in front along with all-new DRL. There is a new grille with Audi logo in it and silver inserts around it. The new bumper and silver highlight completes the look of the new Audi Q3.

On the side, there are 17-inch wheels with 5-twin spoke design. The chrome surrounds the window panel with blacked B and C pillars, adding a sense of premium feel to the car. On the rear, the car remains almost the same except the all-new tail-lamps powered by LEDs and new rear bumper and fog lamps. Audi has also changed the way of how indicators work. They now have the same outward movement like the high-end Audi cars like the TT and the R8.IMG_0206 copy

On the inside, the new baby SUV from Audi now gets the MMI system, which also works as a navigation device and screen for rear camera. The interiors are available in either black or beige. The infotainment system now gets 20GB of on-board space with slots for two SD card reader. There is a huge panoramic sunroof to add to the premium feature list of the car.IMG_0384

Audi has kept the engine same. It still gets powered by a 2.0-litre VGT engine that churns a maximum of 180PS at 4,200 rpm along with 380 Nm of peak torque starting from 1,750 rpm and stays till 2,500 rpm. The car also stores braking energy temporarily so that it can be used to thrust the car forward when accelerating. The 7-speed, S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox is now aided by paddle shifters, making the new Q3 much more fun to drive.
