Revolt Intellicorp will be launching India’s first electric motorcycle on June 18, 2019. This electric bike will feature a 4.5kW motor with a 45-amp controller and has an ARAI tested range of 156km. Revolt Motors was founded by Rahul Sharma, the co-founder of Micromax, and the company has spent the last two years developing components for this motorcycle. A couple of months ago, Revolt had shared the design sketch for this e-bike, and it shows upside down forks, rear monoshock, disc brakes at both ends as well as a belt drive connecting the electric motor to the rear wheel.
