TVS Motor Company, as part of its ongoing relief efforts towards the Fani cyclone that hit the coastal parts of eastern India, has activated a roadside assistance (RSA) programme in Odisha. The programme is backed by a 24-hour helpline service which will address customer queries in Odia and Bengali language. The Hosur-based two-wheeler company has 25 mobile service vans running across 10 Odisha districts to help customers transport their vehicles. TVS is extending the service free of cost to customers covered under primary warranty.
Launching the programme, director and chief executive officer (CEO) of TVS, KN Radhakrishnan, said that Odisha has suffered a lot from the destruction caused by Fani. The RSA programme was launched as soon as telephone lines in the state were restored. Customers can contact the helpline to solve their problems or avail the mobile van service. He claimed that TVS is a customer-centric organisation and the company is doing its bit towards restoring normalcy in the state.
TVS Motor, through its insurance partners, is also offering an immediate release of 50 percent of the amount towards repair claims, along with minimum documentation on the ‘know your customer’ (KYC) process. The company has also launched a video streaming hotline for speeding up the insurance approval.
Owners of TVS vehicles can call the RSA helpline number 18002587111 to get assistance. The local helpline numbers are Puri (9692152610), Bhubaneswar (7440030015), Cuttack (9437055633), Jajpur (8114397855), Chandikhol (9938561634), Balasore (7008780517), Baripada (8328916235), Bhadrak (7008014109), and Rahama – 9583468858, TVS revealed in a statement.
