India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has launched a new range of racing performance accessories and merchandise at the recent two-day MotoSoul event held in Vagator. The TVS Racing Performance Gears and Accessories and TVS Racing MotoSoul have been launched to boost sales and forge a deeper bond with customers. The new gear and merchandise will be available through the company’s authorized dealership chain.
TVS claims that its latest two-wheelers NTorq and Apache have attracted young customers and racing aficionados in both India and overseas markets.
Commenting on the launch of the new accessories, the company’s joint managing director Sudarshan Venu, said that racing has always been an integral part of TVS. The Apache series of motorcycles has sold over 50,000 units and is now a youth symbol in India and elsewhere across the globe. The new premium gear will make racing more fun and responsible, he said, adding that it will add style and help customers ride their bikes more responsively.
TVS has joined hands with global and local partners to introduce the new range of motorcycling accessories and merchandise.
The riding gear includes jackets, helmets, pants, boots, and gloves. The jacket is available in red (INR5,750) and neon green (INR5,600) colours. The mesh riding pants are priced at INR4,950 and come in fluorescent yellow and red colours. It gets a high-density foam hip protector and certified knee protectors. TVS is also offering full-face helmets priced between INR2,500 and INR2,800.
The TV casual merchandise series comprises jeans, jackets, casual shoes, sunglasses, caps, bags, and T-shirts. The urban jacket comes in blue and black colours. The riding jeans come in denim and black colours and get a certified knee protector. The range of casual shoes is made from faux leather with denim/leather construction.
TVS is also offering a 45-litre backpack which has an inbuilt rain cover. The T-shirts are priced at INR1,100 each.
