Royal Enfield, the Chennai-headquartered retro-classic motorcycle manufacturer has introduced a range of accessories for the Bullet Trials 500 and the Trials 350 bikes. Both these motorcycles were added to the Enfield portfolio this year. While the Trials 350 has an ex-showroom price of INR1.62 lakh, its larger sibling is priced at INR2.07 lakh. The Trials twins are the most affordable scrambler motorcycles in India and have no direct rival in their class.
The twins are based on the Enfield Classic 350 and the Classic 500 respectively but have a more rugged look than their standard cousins. The list of Trials accessories comprises both protective guards and cosmetic add-on parts.
The Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350 is hauled by a 350cc engine which produces 20.7PS peak power at 5,250rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The Trials 500, as the name suggests, has a 500cc motor which produces 27.5PS maximum power at 5,250rpm and 41.3Nm peak torque at 4,000rpm. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed gear system.
The Bullet Trials list of accessories list help riders to add a personal touch to their vehicles. The range includes a handlebar brace pad (INR600), knuckle guards (INR2,200), number board (INR1,850), a compact stainless steel engine guard (INR2,700), and an aluminium sump guard (INR2,650). These items can be bolted on to the bike within an hour. All these parts come with a two-year manufacturer warranty. According to Royal Enfield, since the Trials scramblers are based on their respective Classic bikes, the accessories can be fitted on to the latter motorcycles as well.
However, one item that’s missing from the list is the headlight guard. Royal Enfield has claimed that the item has not been included since it affects the spread and travel distance of the light on highways.
Enfield is likely to add more items to accessories list in the days ahead.
