The Royal Enfield Classic 350, one of the most popular cruiser bikes from the Indian manufacturer, is now available with louder exhausts. Royal Enfield has introduced a new accessories catalog that lists four different types of exhaust kits for the bike. The peashooter and slash cut end exhausts are priced INR3,600 and INR3,300 respectively. The other two varieties, the straight cut end cap, and the tapered end cap have an identical price of INR3,450.
Royal Enfield claims that all the exhausts have been manufactured from stainless steel and are rust-free.
The new optional exhaust kits are louder compared to the factory-fitted units. All the kits are within the government prescribed noise limit and are thus legal to be fitted on to the Classic 350. According to Royal Enfield, the new exhausts are 40 percent lighter than the factory-fitted version, and none of them compromises on the engine’s performance and fuel efficiency. The company, like most of its other optional accessories, is offering a two-year warranty on all four exhaust kits. They can be added to both BS-IV and BS-III versions of the motorcycle.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is known for its rich exhaust sound because of its single-stroke, air-cooled 347cc motor. The single-cylinder engine produces 20.07PS maximum power at 5,250rpm and 28Nm peak torque at 4,000rpm.
The Classic 350 series is available in three trims. The entry-level Classic 350 S and the Classic 350 with antilock braking system (ABS) are priced at INR1,45,975, and INR1,53,903 respectively. The Classic 350 Redditch ABS also commands an ex-showroom price of INR1,53,903.
The new range of exhaust kits for the Classic 350 is available at Royal Enfield dealers and on the company’s official website. The company has also launched factory customisation options for the motorcycle which allows buyers to customise their vehicle at the time of booking.
