For the riding enthusiasts, the excitement to own a new motorcycle is second to none. But this endless wait to get your hands on you dream machine can be frustrating. Normally it happens when the bike is very popular as the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and every biker wants it. Especially during the festivals, you will face the scenario of a long wait list for your favourite Royal Enfield motorcycle.
So put your mind at ease, we contacted various dealerships of the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer across India to find out the waiting period for the Bullet 350 Twinspark and the Classic 350. Let's shed some light on the sales figures just to give you a better understanding of things. Royal Enfield managed to sell 10,680 units of the Bullet 350 Twinspark last month, while sales of the Classic 350 stood at 44,610 units. Just to put things into perspective, the Bajaj Dominar 400, which is the Classic 350’s closest competitor, sold just 1,122 units in the same month.
Please take a look at the table below that will give you a clear picture of the approximate wait time for either of your favourite bikes:
So, the above table shows you that baring a few cities all other places have a minimum wait of 15 days to a month.
Now design wise as the name suggests the Classic 350 draws inspiration from vintage RE motorcycles but does give that retro look a touch of freshness. Bullet 350 Twinspark on the other is more of a traditional Royal Enfield. Both the bikes are powered from the same 346cc, single-cylinder mill that makes 20PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Now keep this table handy, if you're planning on buying any of these two bikes, as it will help you plan accordingly. Contact your nearest Royal Enfield dealership for more details on these bikes.
