Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have announced festive offers on its range of scooters to make them affordable for buyers. With Ganesh Chaturthi round the corner, several two-wheeler manufacturers have come up with schemes to attract customers. Yamaha did that recently for its FZ range of motorcycles and its entire range of scooters and now Honda seems to be following suit.
Honda is offering an 18K gold coin to anybody who buys its scooters. This is irrespective of the two-wheeler’s specifications. The scheme, however, is only for those living in Maharashtra.
That aside, the company is offering an optional low down payment of INR1,100. The processing fee has been completely waived under this scheme. The scheme, however, can be availed only through the company’s preferred banking partners. Buyers can also opt for a no-cost equitable monthly installment (EMI) scheme. The two offers are available for a limited period and can’t be clubbed. Honda is extending the offer on all scooters including the Dio, Activa 125, and the Activa 5G Limited Edition.
The Honda Activa, meanwhile, emerged as the bestselling scooter in July despite a decline in numbers. It sold 2,43,604 units, followed by TVS Jupiter with 57,731. The Dio was the other Honda scooter among the top five and sold 37,622 units in July.
