Hero MotoCorp has rolled out festive season offers for its range of gearless scooters in the country. These offers are applicable on the Maestro Edge, Duet, and Pleasure scooters, and will be valid only till October 30, 2018.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer is offering benefits of up to Rs. 2,100, in addition to a five-year warranty on its scooters that have an engine capacity of up to 110cc. It is worth noting that the recently launched Hero Destini 125 isn’t part of the said offer.
Hero uses the same 110.9cc, single cylinder engine on both the Maestro Edge and the Duet. This power plant churns out 8.11PS at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,500rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a variomatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheel. The Maestro Edge gets sporty looks and plastic body panels, while the Duet comes with metal body parts that are shaped to give a relatively conservative scooter look. Suspension setup on both these models includes conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Meanwhile, the Hero Pleasure is inclined towards female customers; as is evident from its tagline – Why should boys have all the fun!. Powering the Pleasure is a 102cc, single cylinder engine that pumps out 7PS at 7,000rpm and 8.1Nm at 5,000rpm. It is suspended on bottom link suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Excluding all the above discounts, the Hero Maestro Edge is priced at Rs. 50,000, while the Duet costs Rs. 47,250. Meanwhile, Hero’s entry-level scooter – the Pleasure, is priced at a more aggressive tag of Rs. 46,900.
