Limited edition Hyosung Aquila 250 launched in three exclusive paint
DSK Hyosung has launched a limited edition variant of its 249cc V-twin cruiser, the Aquila 250. The production of this limited edition will be restricted to just 100 units, and it'll be available in matte green, carbon black and desert brown. The bike is priced at Rs 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The usual three colours, including blue, black and red, will also be on sale along with the special edition Aquila 250.
The company is also making an effort to make their bikes easier to buy by offering finance offers at zero per cent interest rate on the purchase of the motorcycle.
The Aquila gets its power from a 249cc, 75-degree V-twin, which produces 26.6PS of power at 9500rpm and 21.4Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Unlike a typical cruiser, this V-twin is low on bottom end torque but packs a good mid-range and pulls cleanly all the way to the red line. Fuel supply comes from a rather small 14-litre fuel tank.
Stopping duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear while, upside-down forks at the front and two hydraulic shockers at the back deal with the surface undulations. The bike comes with two free services and two-year/24,000km warranty from the manufacturer's end.
On the occasion, Shirish Kulkarni, chairman of DSK Motowheels said:
The DSK Hyosung Aquila 250 has been a high-demand cruiser in the sub-500cc market segment. In order to mark its success, we are proud to announce 100 limited edition units of the Aquila 250 which will be available in three trendy colours including matte green, carbon black and desert brown. We have partnered with various financial institutions to provide interest-free loans for all the motorcycles on offer in the DSK Hyosung line-up.
