Tata Aria
Tata Motors is likely to launch its utility vehicle Aria in the second half of 2010. It was unveiled at the Auto Expo in New Delhi in January 2010. Aria is a crossover between a sports utility vehicle and a multi-utility vehicle.
Ratan Tata, Chairman, Tata Motors, said on the occasion, “Two years back, we also introduced Nano, the world’s cheapest car, here. Today, we are showcasing a whole variety of products. Apart from Aria, there will be products from Jaguar, series of buses and a new world truck, new alternate fuel vehicles and electric vehicles.”
Aria offers robust performance with comfort due to its unique design. The interiors of the car offer three rows of theatre style seating, 3D surround sound, dimming roof lamps, built in GPS and a state-of-the-art infotainment system. The vehicle is also equipped with multi functional steering wheel, air conditioning with automatic climate control and cruise control. Top version of Aria comes with 6 airbags.
