Audi is planning to launch its new Audi A5 in India at the end of 2009. The car is a delight for Audi lovers. The A5 is a coupe that changes the concept of car design. It is in sync with the contemporary designs. It has a vintage appeal with uber chic charm coupled with a flat roof and a sweeping touch of the roofline. The car is grace and charisma personified. With its broad bumpers and striking spoiler lip, the car commands attention by its sheer presence. The spoiler merges seamlessly into the lid of the boot while exhilarating sportslike shape which renders it its “Audi-esque” look.

Audi A5 has a long wheelbase and a broad wheel track that provides superlative directional stability. The car has a 360 degree safety concept. It features a two-stage full-size air-bag for the driver’s seat. The front seats feature airbag back guard in case of a rear-end impact. There is child-safety measure too fitted in the rear.

The A5 is likely to be available in four variants. Two diesels – 2.7V6 and 3.0-litre TDI and two petrol units 3.2V6 and 4.2V8.
