Pros: Fantastic mileage, tall body
Cons: 3-wheeler looks
Wagon R is surely one of the best cars in its segment, moreso when you look at the kind of people who go for it. Its definitely not the best looking, nor can it boast of being the most comfortable. But it surely gives an unbelievable mileage (upwards of 17kmpl for me!), has a lot of head room and the tall body structure makes you feel sitting high up on the road.
I found the finishing to be dissapointing, when I compare it to the likes of the Santro or the Spark or the Swift. And that shouldnt be the case considering the price of a VXi is only about 50K cheaper than a Swift VXi.
All in all...not a bad car...but if you really hv that extra buck, go for the swift anyday Write a Comment

| No harmeet...dont expect the mileage of the wagon R to be near the alto. Wagon will give you a 15-16 kmpl at its best on city roads |

| Thanks a lot Alex for the added views. I totally agree (and admit that I missed commenting on the same) that the boot space is nothing to be proud of. Thankfully we have a bigger car back home so we usually use that one for carrying luggage.
Drive safe everyone.. |

| Wagon R is indeed a great car as described by Mr. Ankur Wakiroo. However is has such a small boot space. Not much goes in there. I mean suitcases and such. I do use my car to bring my clients from the airport on many occassions, and its really embarassing if some customers come with two suitcases. Then that really becomes difficult to fit in. As regarding safety, its the best car than many others as it has extreme good safety features that will keep you safe even if you are in a crash. I myself managed to crash my previous Wagon R as I fell asleep while coming back home from the midnight church service on New Years Day. Luckily, I was the only one in the car and it was no one else. I had the seat belt on. The car was fully damaged from the outside, but nothing happened to me at all. Since that situation, I have bought myself a new Wagon R, precisely because the car is totally safe. The other problem is that it has too little space for sitting. I mean if you are taking 4 slim persons in you car, then it is fantastic. But 4 slightly overweight person in car alongwith the driver beomes a bit of a space problem. Thats it folks from me so far. Whatever car you wish to pruchase, please drive safely and enjoy your ride. Cheers.........!!! |
