Age doesn’t hamper your passion or enthusiasm and same will be proved true by the 62-year old, Mr. Thomas Chacko. The Kochi-based motoring enthusiast is set for a driving expedition which will cover 25,000 kilometers in 80 days. Mr. Chacko will drive 2012 Tata Nano on his expedition which will cover all the state and UT capitals including India’s southernmost – Kanyakumari, Dwarka in west, Kargil in North, Kibithoo, which is the eastern most motorable destination. The expedition will also include Khardung-La, which is highest motorable road in the world and Nagpur, which is geographic center of India.
Embarking on this journey, Mr. Thomas Chacko says, “I have chosen the Tata Nano for this journey because it is a car that has put India on the world motoring map. Despite being the lightest car, and having the smallest engine currently in production worldwide, the Nano can take on every kind of road, especially with its clearance of 180 mm. I have driven a Tata Nano for almost 900 kms across cities and towns and also to Munnar, which is 5,000 feet above sea level. I am now convinced that the Tata Nano will go wherever I take it on my trip.”
