Skoda Auto could be planning a redesign of the Yeti crossover in the coming months. Nothing can be said for certain about their India plans, at least for now. However, we do expect to see the Yeti facelift coming to India sooner than later. Meanwhile, the SUV was spotted in Europe recently sporting psychedelic disguise upfront and towards the rear end. Apart from that the Yeti does not seem to have undergone any change.
The upcoming Skoda Yeti still sports the same slab side rear end, although with what look like a few tweaks to the tail lamp cluster. On the front end, the unique headlights and the very unconventional fog lamps housed in the bumper are still there, albeit with some minor changes. Finally, the front bumper itself also seems to have been redesigned and similarly, we expect some minor changes to the interior. That said, the mid-life makeover cannot be considered as any close to dramatic.
Currently, the Skoda Yeti is available with two engine options. The 2.0 litre TDI comes in a higher state of tune on the all-wheel-drive variant. A base 2WD variant with 110 PS of power is also available. As we know, the top-of-the-line Yeti comes with electronic aides like hill decent control etc. which sets it apart from the competition.
