Skoda Rapid Plus package – Two New variants lanched in India

Skoda has launched new variants to make its Rapid range much better. The new variants are Rapid’s Ambition Plus and Active plus; who will now be giving the customers more options to choose from the range of Rapid models. The company’s Plus packages will be including several additional features extending convenience to the customers.

Most of the automakers are bringing in their existing variants refreshed with more features to fascinate prospective buyers as the festive season is on rolls. Companies are considered this to be the best time for selling their new launches in India. Recently, the Volkswagen came with a refreshed and fully-loaded Polo and Vento. Fiat India also announced bringing their season-edition of their Linea and Punto, which has been named Absolute.

Skoda is all set to bet on their Sedan, Rapid in order to increase its sales in the domestic market. Skoda recorded better sales figures after the launching their Rapid sedan in the Indian auto market. With the launch of the refreshed version, the company expects to receive a similar response.

The new variants will extend more choice to the customers and they may choose the best model and value for money. Skoda’s official website will soon be carrying all the details about the new additions in the existing models. Skoda’s dealerships will also be giving a peek-a-boo to these season-edition sedans.

To further boost the sales of Rapid, Skoda Finance Pvt. Ltd, part of Volkswagen Finance Private ltd., has given limited period EMI plan of Rs 9,999. The offer allows the customers to choose one of the different EMI plans with low down payment.

Joern Achim Kurzrock, Chairman of the Managing Board, Volkswagen Finance Private Ltd said, “The offer comes at a time when the auto industry is witnessing a contraction in demand. At affordable EMIs, this offer will make it easier for consumers to make the transition from a hatchback to a sedan.”



  1. Hello why dont you guys think of launching a diesel automatic variant in skoda rapid. Customers just have the laura in automatic transmission and thats too costly. Plus all the car companies think of launching the top end variant as auto transmission and none of them have given the customer a choice of auto transmission in the most basic varient of the car which has just power windows,power steering, and as you can check the figures most of the cars sold are from this segment only and why would one pay approx 2 lakhs for the auto transmission vehicle.
