For the recently released high-end hatchback Jazz, the Honda Siel Cars India is planning for multiple car possessors.
Mr Jnaneshwar Sen, Vice-President, Marketing, Honda Siel Cars India said that the company have a patron base of 3.5 lakh citizens. And the company primarily aims at the Honda car owners. Also, nearly 70 % of them are various car users and they would like to put in Jazz to their fleet of cars. Further the new Jazz will emerge as a lifestyle car to the multiple car users.
Jazz is significant of a multipurpose automobile with the advanced technology and ‘magic seat configuration’ to get multiple seating and cargo-carrying services, said Mr Sen. In this segment presently, the Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo are the major models.
The company is forming a new segment and it is not striving regarding high capacity for the Jazz. For the year 2009 the will expect at half the numbers of the Honda City, said Mr Masahiro Takedagawa, President and CEO, Honda Siel Cars India. Adding, the cost of Jazz will be Rs 7.43 lakh to Rs 7.78 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
Moreover, Jazz comes with 77% local content and it is produced in HSCI’s Greater Noida plant. And in worldwide, nearly 2.8 million units of Jazz have got sold by Honda.
