Chevrolet updated the Enjoy in July 2015 to give it a refreshed appeal with more upmarket design cues and more equipment to revitalize its offering in the expanding MPV segment. The Enjoy is the third product of the SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile or the joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) of China and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co. For India the Chevrolet Enjoy has been extensively modified and by that we mean equipping it with a diesel engine and making some crucial changes to suit the Indian palette.The Enjoy looks quite pleasant. The Enjoy also is quite compact with a length of 4,305mm and overall is a nicely balanced design that is simple. Our favourite part of the Enjoy’s styling has to be the front with its chrome surround three-dimensional grille and leaf style fog lamps. The headlamps are nicely shaped and all that chrome detailing upfront gives it a more premium look. The Enjoy has 14 inch wheels and in our opinion they look a tad small considering the size.

Move to the rear and the design is simple but still quite pleasant. Inside thanks to its monocoque construction, the Chevrolet Enjoy ‘enjoys’ a more spacious interior due to its low floor and despite its relatively compact dimensions, the interiors feels airy and extremely spacious.We had the top of the line version on test which had two captain seats in the middle row and hence is a 7-seater. Other versions of the Enjoy have a bench in the second row thus making it an 8-seater. Space is very good on 2nd row and even on the third! The design itself is simple but well thought out and everything is easy to use. It lacks features like Bluetooth, climate control and a dead pedal for the driver though you do get USB, Aux, single din audio system, height adjustable driver’s seat and roof mounted aircon at the rear. The Chevrolet Enjoy has a 1.3 litre turbocharged diesel with 74PS and a 1.4 litre petrol engine with 100PS. Let’s deal with the petrol first. While the spec sheet reads 100PS, it does not quite feel like that when you drive it. Just like the Sail sedan earlier this petrol engine has to be revved if you have to get the best out of it. When we switched to the diesel it was a much better show as it suits the character of the car better. With 74PS and 172Nm of torque on offer it offers a more relaxed driving experience compared to the petrol the reason being that you do not have to work through the gears that much and it is far less noisy than the petrol when in full chat.

The Chevrolet Enjoy has a McPherson strut with coil springs and a stabilizer bar at front while at the rear there is a 5-link coil spring suspension. The soft suspension dismisses bad roads and potholes well. The ride does not get overly choppy and it is quite comfortable. While we liked the ride quality of the Enjoy there was a fair bit of noise seeping into the cabin.

When it comes to handling the Enjoy is rear wheel drive and when shown some corners it actually does pretty good though there is some body roll but it is not hugely apparent.

Interiors

The Chevrolet Enjoy has spacious interiors due to its low floor and despite its relatively compact dimensions, the interiors feels airy and extremely spacious. The seats themselves are quite comfortable and legroom, headroom is quite good in the first two rows. Move to the third row and things are not bad, though it will not be comfortable for three there so in our opinion it is best for two adults.

The design itself is simple but well thought out and everything is easy to use. Where we feel the Enjoy lacks is in the quality department as the fit and finish could have been better. It also lacks features like steering controls, Bluetooth, climate control and a dead pedal for the driver though you do get USB, Aux, single din audio system, height adjustable driver’s seat and roof mounted air-con at the rear. Exteriors

The Chevrolet Enjoy has a pleasant appearance from outside. Given its MPV roots, the Enjoy does appear to have a tall design. Chrome elements lend visual breaks to the plain styling of the car to make it look premium and lively.

Safety

When it comes to handling the Enjoy is rear wheel drive and when shown some corners it actually does pretty good though there is some body roll but it is not hugely apparent. The small wheels and soft suspension limit the fun but it is quite competent. The steering on the other hand feels light and effortless to use which is a boon in the city traffic. In fact driving the Enjoy is traffic is very easy with the tight turning circle helping in this matter and with the top of the line variant having parking sensors, parking too was easy. The Enjoy diesel has a ground clearance of 161 mm and the petrol has 165 mm.

Excellent car for family tour.It has a wide space inside the vehicle with 7-8 seat which can carry more persons like family friends. The mileage for diesel vehicle of these type vehicle, I think, Enjoy is the best for middle class man like us which can be covered within a limited earnings. The shape and size of the vehicle also very attractive.

I Owned my Chevy Enjoy on 26-6-13. Till to date i am enjoying its ride. More Space and Low cost when compared to Innova and Ertiga... Performance is worthy. Air conditioning is excellent. Interior Looks little disturbing.. Front suspension is better than rear suspension. Over all, Its worth for its money... Travelling experience is awsome...

Cons ,Power delivered by the FIAT SMARTECH Engine could have been better

I bough the Chevy Enjoy limited edition on 14th Feb 2014 which Chevy has launched to mark sales of 14K vehicles. It comes with host of accessories like rain guards, chrome kit, wooden finish on panels and doors, side view mirror blinkers, graphics, B-pillar black coating and roof rails. In Bangalore, the Enjoy would set you back by 10.2 lacs for top end Diesel LTZ limited edition, which considering the specs of the car and fitments, is best in its segment. Plus Chevy has confidence on its engine to supply a 100000 km3 yrs warranty for the engine against Maruti Ertiga's only 45000 KM2 Yrs Warranty Oodles of Space in all rows - both headroom and legroom. When I compared with Ertiga, I could relate Ertiga to a car more than MPV. Limited Edition Looks Sporty Mileage feedback is very good. I bought the vehicle just 1 week back but with 600 Km done I estimate its giving 15 kmpl in city. Interiors are decent enough but could have been better Chevy should have provided an armrest for front seats(I guess they did not becasue the driving position and visbility is so comfortable that you might doze off!!) Gear Shift is absolutely amazing and driveability in city is decent for a diesel car. I shifted from petrol Accent but don't find so much difference. Ride quality is very good for all passengers. I have done off-roading thanks to absolutely horrible roads enroute to a nearby temple we visited last Sunday. It has good suspension. Car stability is OK. An MPV is supposed to be driven at not more than 100-110 kmph and at 100 kmph I was able to negotiate smoothly and confidently a steep curve on NICE road in Bangalore Lastly this is tried and tested workhorse for Chevy. In China, this car sells almost 5L per annum and it is the third highest selling car last year world over. Power at 77 BHP looks less but thanks to rear wheel drive it will have more traction on gradients and its Fixed Geometry Turbo is better than Ertiga for same FIAT engine as far as city driving goes. And most importantly, I was able to get all information from Chevy sales on the number of impact beams and crumple zones(plenty of safe design features for the Enjoy) whereas Maruti sales person fumbled in pointing out impact beams, if any at all in the car. I bought the car from Trident which is a good and responsive dealer for Chevy in Bangalore.

A wonderful car overall. Bought this car in its basic BS 8 seater form in petrol and got what I paid for. The MPV is ultra comfortable and the suspension is soft and cuddly. Even the worse roads feel like heaven. The interiors are 710 vis-a-vis the competition but the existence of double AC vents and other amenities for the 6 lakh price is a very attractive factor especially the voluminous SPAAACE that this car loads crippling the competition. If you have a large family, this car is the one to buy. The diesel variant may have more torque with its turbo charged powerhouse, but the petrol variant is not bad either with a marginally close torque level as the diesel. The car is a rip off of the Chinese Wuling but that should not deter even the most discerning family car buyer, to whom priorities are clear.That said about the pros now the cons. The fuel efficiency of the petrol variant at 8kmpl in my hill station, is so bad that it will definitely disappoint any motley group of mileage cravers. Chevrolet may want to try to turn this car into a hybrid with conversion kits so buyers like myself can rekindle hope in savouring whatever little is left out of a hasty purchase decicion. Am I regretting it No I am not but other buyers might. This huge car at 14.5 feet length, is still a wise purchase decision given the population of my family. To each his own.
