Review On Maruti - Alto I bought an Alto Lxi recently ( a red one) and I like it. It has resonably good pickup and easy to drive and park in the cities. Though I had to spent few thousands for getting the bumper same color as the body, getting an undercoating (based on the suggestion that an undercoating is good for the rainy roads), floor mats, wheel cups, mud guards and window tinting. You could negotiate these extra necessary fittings with the dealer during the sales negotiations and get it done by them at free of cost or at a discounted rate.
I went for a long drive about 500 Km on the first day itself (with five people including the driver) and the car performed reasonably well on highways and we didnot face any problems even though the road condition was bad some times. The mileage was excellent, we got about 18-20 km/litre. Its A/c also works very well. I recommend Lxi with power steering because the car is easy to handle in the crowded cities.
Overall I am very happy with this car. I would give a rating of very good for this car. I think this is an excellent economical car for a small family and very good for city driving.
