Hello,
While I tend to agree with you that the i10 is a great car to own, the service from HYundai OR its dealers is pathetic - to say the least. I own a Getz 2005 model. Recently I gave it to KUN Hyundai in Chennai for servicing a problem with the AC - it was making a lot of noise . They diagnosed the problem to be with the timing belt, AC ideling pulley and charged me about Rs. 8,000 /- to repair it. The problem still persists. Just today, my car's remote central locking is not working and there is no one that will help me - I call Hyundai emergency road repair and they sent me to the person who installed the remote central locking company person - who refused to attend it as it is Sunday. This is not the first time, I have generally had very poor service from both Hyundai and their appointed accessory dealers. Needless to say, I am unable to use the vehicle when I need it the most. I am thoroughly upset and disappointed with Hyundai's service - their products are good but service is rank bad. I am trying to log a complaint with Hyundai - but their website too is down!! Sorry to disappoint you, but since you asked for the truth, here its is. |

Thank you Ramas for your valued report. This will definitely help me in chosing my car. But one thing I do not understand that if every one is upset with Hyundai Service, then the Hyundia people must be well aware of it. Then why they do not consider this segment. If they improve their service segment then I am sure their sales will definitely boom, because they really deliver good cars to the customers, but if only their service would have been close to the Maruti Wallas then I think they would have ruled the car market, - at least in India.
