The United
Kingdom’s super premium luxury car brand Bentley Motors has
unveiled its Azure and the Continental GTC, both convertibles, in
India. The cars, rolled out of the company’s Britain plant, are to
be imported as completely built units (CBUs) and will be sold through
the company’s India partner, Delhi-based Exclusive Motors Private
Ltd.While the company has priced the Bentley Azure at Rs 3.8
crore (ex-showroom Delhi), the Continental GTC would sport a price
tag of Rs 2.10 crore. The Azure comes powered with a V-8 6.75-litre
twin turbo-charged engine. The Continental GTC, meanwhile comes with
a 6.0-litre twin-turbo charged engine.

Bentley too on Friday raised its voice and sought revision of import
duty structure on automobiles.
“The Indian super premium luxury car market in India has been
growing fast. But you have to look at the tax structure for imported
cars,” Bentley Middle East, Africa and India Regional Director, Ian
Gorsuch, told reporters here as Bentley introduced its two
convertible models — Bentley Azure and Continental GTC — priced
at Rs. 3.80 crore and Rs. 2.10 crore, respectively.

UK-based luxury
car major Bentley Motors today launched its two super-luxury cars in
convertible motors' segment in India. Bentley's two new convertibles -- "Azure" priced at Rs
3.80 crore (ex-showroom) and "Continental GTC" for Rs 2.10
crore (ex-showroom) -- will be available only at its show-room in New
Delhi.
Announcing the launch here today, Company's Regional Sales Manager
(Middle East, Africa and India) Ian Hession said, "We are
targeting to sell at least 25 cars every year in the Indian market."
Bentley, since it first hit the India market in October 2003, has
sold more than 40 cars in the super-luxury segment.
