The original tall boy from Maruti has always been a hit with families and the fair sex. Practical, roomy, easy to drive and efficient, the WagonR got its latest upgrade in the form of better looks, all-new interiors, the new KB10 engine and revised pricing. The WagonR has often been criticised for its poor looks though the new one improves on that tremendously. The interiors have been jazzed up a lot and offer lot of spaces for knick-knacks. The design was changed and now looks pleasing to the eyes as well.
A big change to the WagonR came in the form of a new gearbox shift mechanism system which improved the shifts considerably. Maruti has been making good use of the KB10 engine and it powers the WagonR too offering a good drive and impressive fuel economy as well. As much as the WagonR is a very easy car to drive and live in, the suspension system isn’t the best around, offering a bumpy ride to the rear passengers. Plus points include good visibility, a light steering, a company fitted CNG as an option and option to go in for ABS as well as air-bags.
Expert Speak: The tall boy offers good space and the CNG option is the icing on the cake.

value 4 money car , a must buy for less than Rs 4lakh car. I recommend vxi model because i m driving that. read more
Could have been better
Wagon R is surely one of the best cars in its segment, moreso when you look at the kind of people who go for it. Its definitely not the best looking, nor can it boast of being the most comfortable. But it surely gives an unbelievable mileage (upwards of 17kmpl for me!), has a lot of head room and the tall body structure makes you feel sitting high up on the road. I found the finishing to be dissapointing, when I compare it to the likes of the Santro or the Spark or the Swift. And that shouldnt be the case considering the price of a VXi is only about 50K cheaper than a Swift VXi. All in all...not a bad car...but if you really hv that extra buck, go for the swift anyday read more

Good 1st car but dated now
Overall, WagonR is a value for money car. It is good especially for a tall person like me. Very smooth on smooth roads. But if you have to drive it in Mumbai, not great. It gives you thuds through your body in potholes and on speed-breakers. Looks are staid and interiors unexciting. But still reliable like all Maruti cars. read more

Though I was waiting for the Car for three months, Price was Increased around 6000/. It is a one week only, since I got the delivery. Suitable for four Adults comfortable. Interior should improve. Hoping for good milage for local use only. read more
