Gaadi Road Test Verdict
Ford’s most successful car ever in India has been their hatchback offering, the Figo. Launched after extensive testing, interviewing and questioning thousands of real world buyers and incorporating all that today’s middle class family desires, the Figo has been a runaway success for Ford in India. The Figo has also helped erase some of the nightmarish memories that previous Ford owners had from its other products. For starters, the Figo offers shattering value for money, providing more in terms of an overall package than some of its rivals. The Figo looks smart, if not beautiful and is offered in both diesel and petrol versions with the former being the pick of the lot.
The interiors are one of its main selling points, offering good space, exciting features and high levels of quality. There are enough thoughtful touches like best in class boot space, enough cubby holes and good color combination on the inside. The ride quality of the Figo is also its strong point, being miles ahead of other similarly priced hatchbacks in India. The diesel engine is the same mill as the one doing duty on the Fiesta though in a different state of tune. The power delivery is linear and the car responds well in city traffic though with a full load does run out of steam on the highways. The petrol engine on the other hand scores very well on smoothness but does lose out on outright performance and fuel economy. The Figo range starts from Rs 3.6 lakh for the base petrol variants and customers can chose from four different trim levels with the top end trim levels offering features like air-bags, ABS, Bluetooth connectivity among others. Surprisingly, even the top end versions lack rear power windows to keep overall costs down.

Ford figo - poor quality product
i have fiesta which is very nice car and thinking that it has fiesta engine i bought ford figo which doesn't meet the customer expectations. i personally noticed few cosemtic issues like poor finishing, Bend triangles on rear windows, and huge Noise from shock absorbers when you travel on bummpy road and huge brake noise from front when you apply half brakes. I have noticed this in test drive car which is easily noticable. how did this car pass their quality test. we cant expect more from ford because it proven to be quality less car compared to chervolet. i can't compare the quality with any car because it is the least among the exisiting cars. no matter how old it is. read more
FIGO - A car for the Young Generation & Compact family
I had a good ride with FIGO with a ownership and it is very impressive , The AC,Music system is better than Swift. The diesel engine pick up and performance is great. But i am not able to choose my colour as there are very few option with no blue (fiesta sporty) colour. FIGO -- Worth for money,Can feel a better Fiesta luxury. read more
Not a good car
I bought ford figo in bangalore from metro ford. and i used it just for 4 days and i noticed few problems with the car. The pickup is not great with AC on and brake Brake pad near clutch moves in different directions. Brake noise from the car. I feel it is worthless car. While buying i was convineced seeing coral red dash board, and music system. since i have les technicl knowledge i could collect more information. I have put my car for sale in Automart where they did a quality check of new car and gave me a feedback about the car saying it has brake problem where in you get huge noise while applying brakes and poor finishing like rubber beeding and soon. i even checked with demo vehicle and my friends car even he noticed the same. this brake noise was keep increasing the more you apply brakes. for me this looks like a cheap prodcut which is not worth 6 lakhs. i personally feel maruthi swift and chervolet beat is the best car compared to figo. read more
