good and bad about dezire.
At the price the diesel versions are launched, it is a steal.Very good pickup, good ac, best of features in top end zdi make it a formidable and unbeatable car of this era.U will never feel u are driving a diesel car. (likes of indigo, logan and even 1.4 petrol fiesta can beaten in a giffy). High torque at low rpm is good for city driving. The only thing not so good is its a 2 in 1 car, ie., swift from the front and sx4 from the back. Its just cut & paste of the front half of swift and rear half of sx4. Probably suzuki was in a hurry to launch the entry level sedan after deciding to withdraw esteem. They could have contoured the body like verna or fiesta, or else continued the sporty look of front at the rear also. read more

Swift Dzire the ugliest car
Hi all, This is the ugliest thing ever runs Indian roads by Maruti as per product design. Thanks to the so called ‘designers’ at Maruti, How really made the Swift’s backside extended which looks a tank. And the rear curves hardly blend into the boot. Even a school going kid to draw a car he will come up with the better design and good looking car than Swift Sedan (Dzire). Just adding the boot space does not make it a sedan. That’s way Esteem’s simple and good look makes more difference than ugliest. And finally all those how say good about DZIre perfomance than it is rubbish. Esteem is giving same from for those how don’t know. For tham maruti has just put the same petrol esteem engine (2005 and above) esteem (petrol engine, 4 stroke cycle all aluminim SOHC 4/cylinder 1298cc, 32 bit EMC) in Dzire. Just chack the Spcifications of esteem and Dzire. Also about mileage a 2005 above esteem give’s 14 to 15 Kml on highways. Any way, all claimed mileage by companies are on highways only. Correct. And about the rear space legroom and the seating space in back it is same as SWIFT. That means it is smaller than esteem space. If any one has doubt than chk and let me know. So any time Esteem(2005 and above) was better than Dzire(True for value). But unfortunately Maruti has discontinued the Esteem product so Maurti lover’s don’t have any other options. It has a great look and smooth engine.this is the only smoothing car in diesel engine.It has lot of space so it is comfort.but during delivery only car should come late. If the company gives quick delivery it is no 1 car in india read more

i booked a swift dzire vxi at modern motors ambala cantt on 22 jul 2010. i wasw given a time period of 2 weeks for delivery but 3 weeks have passed and i have not been given car and when i call up there staff i am abused and shouted at. most of the times they dont pick my call also. i dont recommend anyone to buy a car from maruti to any one read more

DZiRE-Able!
Looks of DZiRE are not quirky as the smaller Swift. AC,Interiors,Quality,Price and Service all Good. I own old Esteem Feb 2007 VXi model and AC of old car is great. DZiRE is same as Esteem but is,more better equipped with ABS,AirBags. Comfort not good,but a big deal. read more
