Yamaha to launch super bike FZ1 in December

India Yamaha Motors is planning to launch its superbike FZ1 in India in December this year. The bike may be priced between Rs 8-9 lakh. The company has already launched its Yamaha R1 and MT-01 bikes in the country.

The new bike FZ1 will be equipped with 1000cc engine and four cylinders. It will compete with recently launched Honda CB1000R. The demand for super bikes is growing in India. Recently, Ducati has also launched its bikes in the country. BMW is also in the process of introducing its products in the country.

    @sunit
    This is about FZ1, not about a localized version of an FZ with 153cc.
    Riding an FZ1 is like riding clouds.
    Comparing FZ1 with FZ16 is like comparing Maruti 800 with Toyota Camry.
